| Stateline Mini Mall started in 1995
across the street from our present location. We were renting a 3,000
square foot building with no air conditioning, heating or water. The
roof leaked when it rained. When our present 18,000 square foot 5
level building came available in June of 1996, just across the street,
we acquired it. We were so excited to have bathrooms, air
conditioning, heating and a lovely showroom to display our
merchandise. We have had tremendous growth since this move. We now have over $500,000 in inventory. The building was originally a movie theater built in the 1920's, with the Masonic Lodge located on the third floor. In the 50's it was purchased and remodeled for a furniture gallery. To afford the high overhead we rented space to antique dealers. We started buying and selling the reproduction mahogany the first of 1999. |
